Spicetify is a closed Android app. New versions are published on Google Play. The source is not public, and there is no desktop build to compile.

How updates install

Keep automatic updates enabled for Spicetify in the Play Store. Android downloads the new version in the background and replaces the app. Themes and settings you already chose stay on the device.

What an update can include

• New themes in the gallery.
• Library views.
• Fixes for recent Android releases.

If Play does not show an update

Open the Play Store, find Spicetify, and pull to refresh. A listing that asks you to download an APK from another site is not this app.
