Getting Started

Spicetify is an Android app on Google Play. It is not an open-source desktop tool, and there is nothing to install from a terminal.

Install from Google Play

1. Open the Play Store on your phone.
2. Search for Spicetify and confirm the listing is the Android app.
3. Tap Install. Updates arrive through Play like any other app.

Requirements

• Android phone or tablet with access to Google Play.
• A current version of the Play Store so updates can install.
• Enough free storage for the app and any themes you download inside it.

First launch

1. Open Spicetify from your app drawer.
2. Sign in if the app asks for an account.
3. Pick a theme from the in-app gallery. It applies on the phone, without a computer.

Updates

Leave automatic updates on in the Play Store. When a new version is published, Android installs it. You do not reapply themes by hand after an update.
